We are facing a climate crisis, to find solutions that work for people across Scotland we need to change the way we do democracy.
In this interactive session we will hear from two experts on why and how we need to do democracy differently. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss between themselves as to how our democracy needs to be updated to tackle the unprecedented challenge of the climate crisis.
We will be joined by Katie Gallogly-Swan, Policy Co-ordinator at Global Development Policy Center and Brett Hennig, co-director of Sortition Foundation.
The session is co-hosted by Electoral Reform Society Scotland and Sortition Foundation.
