Citizens’ Britain: an agenda for the renewal of liberal democracy (Lib Dem Conference)

Join us for the official launch of a new pamphlet exploring the potential of Citizens’ Britain, a concept first articulated by Paddy Ashdown in 1989, as a comprehensive political project for the Liberal Democrats, bringing together citizens’ assemblies, basic income, radical devolution, and much more besides.

Speakers: Ian Kearns, Jon Alexander, Alistair Carmichael MP, Cllr Humaira Ali, and Sarah Allan, Director at Involve, the UK’s leading democratic participation charity.

This event is only open to people who are attending Lib Dem conference. Attendees will receive all the info about how to sign into the conference and attend online fringe events, from the central party.
