Cracking the Constitution: The Democratic Assembly (The World Transformed)

Join us at The World Transformed to experience how citizens’ assemblies can be used to give power back to the people.

We’ll discuss what’s wrong with our political system and together work out how we might build something different, more representative and more effective at securing social justice. By participating you’ll also get to experience how a Citizen’s Assembly works and learn about deeper forms of democracy that might offer a way out of the current political crisis.

Speakers include Irish Citizens’ Assembly member Louise Caldwell and former MEP David Martin who is now co-convener of the Citizens’ Assembly of Scotland.
