The Electoral Reform Society a democratic membership society owned by our members.
In 1884, a diverse group of people from all political backgrounds gathered at 7 Clarges Street, Westminster, to found the Proportional Representation Society. Our name may have changed, but the belief in democracy that drove our founding members is still just as strong.
You can step in their footsteps and become a member of the oldest pro-democracy organisation in the world for as little as £2 a month.
Members can stand for election and vote in the Society’s Council elections, attend our AGM, and play a vital part of our movement for change.
You can set up a recurring payment for membership from £2 per month standard rate or £1 per month concessionary rate (Concessions are offered to students, retirees and the unwaged).
If you would like to join for just one year, please donate the required amount through our donation form and we will contact you regarding membership. You can also send a cheque made payable to the Electoral Reform Society at 3rd Floor News Building, 3 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9SG.
